Bauri para is a very poor area in the village of Kendradangal near Santiniketan in West Bengal. The Bauri para families are entirely landless and the children suffer from malnutrition and ill health.

With the money that people have donated, I have bought some mosquito nets and some sweaters for the children in Bauri para. I also left some money to build a low cost toilet. The children suffer from worms that crawl under their feets and into their body. So the children need plastic flipp flopps to prefent that happening.

The parents of the children can not get a job near the village, so they have to go along way to work. The children are all alone all day without supervision and without food, and they are starving. I am raising some money to build a daycare center for these children, where they can get love, food, shelter, clean clothes and a wash. Not many people know, that a bar of soap is a luxury for these people.
